My name is Shawn Morris. I work as a system administrator for McLeod Health, a regional hospital in Florence, SC.

I have a BS in Computer Science from Francis Marion University.

I started this blog several years ago for two reasons, first because I had the idonotgetit.com domain name and wanted to do something with it other than host my email but second, I had experienced a profound personal growth. I had come to the realization that I was an atheist. After a lifetime of being a Christian, however, this wasn’t as simple as it sounds. I had many thoughts and misconceptions about what I “believed” and “knew.” This blog was a way for me to “argue” with people without making waves or sometimes to simply write down my thoughts to help me clear out my head. It represents my evolution as an atheist as I used the principles of science and skepticism to eliminate incorrect beliefs and ensure that my beliefs were as correct as possible. Obviously, it’s an ongoing, never ending process.
